Restoring American Values to Government
Our government has been broken by those who have been in power these past eight years. We have lost many of our constitutional rights and we have lost our way in the world. This is completely unacceptable, and it is my passion and my calling to restore what has been stolen. 
I promise I will work hard to reform the mess that is our government at this moment in time. We need strong ethical standards, public financing for ALL national races, paper ballots for all elections so that our votes can actually count, accountability to the people and a return to a balance of power among the branches. There is so much to fix, and my first focus will be to restore our constitutional rights by repealing all the laws that have stripped them from us these past eight years!! For example, I want to fix or repeal the so-called Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act of 2006 which stole our rights to privacy, free speech and habeas corpus among others. We must demand a strong
I want to help recreate a government that cares about the environment and how we're destroying it through neglect and pollution. I will push for strong public financing for energy innovation so we can end our dependence on the fossil fuels that are killing this planet and undermining our national security. I will work to restore integrity, accountability and compassion to our government. I will strive to eliminate the ability of special interests to buy our politicians and write our laws. I want our nation to be proud and looked upon as a beacon of hope in the world again.
I am dedicated to improving all our lives by creating an environment of hope and unity. I promise to work tirelessly to affect positive change in the world around us and to work with the citizens of Congressional District #6...YOU...to create a community, a state, a nation that serves us all. I will not waiver in the conviction that we can create a better world for all citizens now and for the future.
This is my mission, my passion, my duty as a citizen. I pledge to do everything in my power to return our government and our nation to the people; to restore our rights as promised by our Constitution; to renew our standing in the world by demonstrating the strength and goodness America has always stood for; to LISTEN to the people and enlist everyone’s help in transforming the country into one we can be proud of again. I will endeavor to bring dignity and fiscal responsibility back to 
the few.

It is time we, the people, took charge of our government, instead of special interests and big corporations remaining in control. Now is the time for the power of the people to shout from the rooftops, “WE are in charge!”. Permitting me to be your voice is a great step towards that freedom!
I don’t aspire to be a politician. No! I yearn to be a true representative of the people’s interests and needs. Together, we CAN make it all happen.
